Nose Tip Rhinoplasty
A sub-operation of nasal plastic surgery, nose tip plastic surgery, also known as nasal tip plasty, is a type of operation performed not for anatomical purposes in the nasal structure but for eliminating visual defects of the tip of the nose. These disorders may be related to curvature, lowness, width, nasal tip deformation, asymmetry or width in the nostrils in the anterior cartilage. Nasal tip rhinoplasty is preferred for eliminating such visual problems.
While performing nose tip rhinoplasty, the procedures do not involve interfering with the nasal bone and nasal cartilage. Nasal tip rhinoplasty, which is preferred only for the elimination of problems at the tip of the nose, is performed through the nostrils, so it takes a shorter time and consists of an easier procedure. In this respect, it differs from other aesthetic interventions.

Therefore, recovery duration after a nasal tip surgery is very short.
How Long Does Nasal Tip Rhinoplasty Take?
Aesthetic operations performed on the tip of the nose are performed under general or local anesthesia depending on the patient’s preference. The operation time on the nose takes about 45 minutes. The patient is discharged on the same day after a few hours of rest. Recovery and return to normal life for the patient were observed as 1 to 2 days.

Things to Consider After Nasal Tip Rhinoplasty
The recovery and return to normal life for the patient after nasal tip rhinoplasty vary between 1 and 2 days. The patient, who is discharged on the day of the operation, should rest for a while.
Silicone splints and protective bands attached to the patient’s nose are removed one week after the operation. After the surgery, the nasal spray is used while cleaning the nose with the guidance of the doctor. In some cases, there may be numbness in the tip of the nose. It is normal for this situation to continue for 1-2 months.
Rapid recovery is observed in the first 3 months in nasal tip aesthetic operations. Full recovery can take from 6 months to 1 year. It is not recommended to use glasses within 1 month of the successful operation. The pressure applied by glasses in the nose area can cause problems.
